"One of the most relaxing and romantic vacations we’ve had"
Thank you so very much for a wonderful experience this past week at Secrets Maroma Beach. My husband I thoroughly enjoyed the resort, as it was one of the most relaxing and romantic vacations we’ve had in a very long while! The property is lovely, the beach is gorgeous, and the pool is inviting and beautifully designed. I particularly looked forward to my lounge chair view of the ocean/beach at the pool each morning.
We took the Hobie Cat for a spin a couple of times out at sea – the walks along the beach were wonderful as well. The restaurants and food were amazing. We were delighted to be treated to such excellent cuisine. Our room was lovely and well-appointed. We loved the shower, four poster bed and the view.
Check-in at the Preferred Club was very comfortable, quick and our concierge was very attentive. But perhaps the greatest kudos goes to the exceptional service levels that we experienced in every area of the resort. Every person on staff that we encountered during our four days at Secrets Maroma Beach – without exception – was attentive, helpful, pleasant, and truly looked as though they enjoyed working at Secrets. From the omelet maker and wait staff in the morning to the evening bartenders – the entire day was spent with amazing service personnel.

"Truly exceeded my expectations"
Secrets Maroma Beach was great and truly exceeded my expectations. The beach was absolutely breathtaking. The water was crystal clear with very little seaweed and no jellyfish in sight. The water was so warm; I could have stayed in it for hours. The waves were not too rough either. They gently came to shore so even the novice swimmer would have been comfortable in the ocean.
The pools were nice too. There was a lot of pool space at your disposal. Each building had a private pool for guests on the first level. They added nice touches as "Honeymooners" & "Anniversary" Banners on the doors of some guests.
The food was amazing and plentiful. There was so much to choose from; Italian, Mexican, Japanese, French, buffet, seafood; everything you could want was there. There served top shelf liquor so the drinks were outstanding and there was always someone ready to refill you glass.

"Staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful."
We could not have been more impressed with this beautiful resort. The setting is stunning along the turquoise beach with beautifully landscaped grounds and buildings. The room was classy and comfortable in every way. We loved the pool areas, variety of restaurants and especially enjoyed the choices of nightly entertainment. We never left the resort and had so many great choices to do something or do nothing as we pleased. Staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful. Secrets Maroma Beach is all adult and is perfect for romantic getaways. We loved that Secrets Maroma Beach was large with so much to offer, but everything was easily accessible from all of the rooms.
Secrets Maroma Beach is definitely our favorite Mexico resort. We will certainly be back!

"I did not want to leave."
I was looking for a romantic and relaxing vacation with great food, drinks and service…and we found it. We stayed for days in the middle of the swine flu scare.
The rooms were lovely and set up for romance. It was our 12th wedding anniversary and the resort provided us with a bottle of champagne, rose petals and towels shaped to look like swans. It was truly lovely. The beach, pools and ocean are all amazing. We spent an entire day on a snorkel trip which was awesome.
The nightly entertainment was excellent. They worked really hard. We do not cook and dine out every meal so I know quality and Secrets Maroma Beach had excellent food. They often came by the pool throughout the day with snacks that were elegant and yummy. They waited on my hand and foot and I did not want to leave.

"We've been back from our trip one day and miss it already!"
"I can't imagine receiving better service and hospitality anywhere else. From check-in to check-out, we were completely pampered by the staff. The concierge staff was very eager to help whenever and wherever possible. The food was very good. We really enjoyed the huge breakfast and lunch buffet at the World Café. We are typically not big buffet fans, but this buffet was excellent.
Our swim-out suite was fantastic. All of the floors were beautifully tiled and the room was nicely decorated. The maid service cleaned our room twice a day and always kept the mini-bar stocked. We ordered room service for breakfast and were so impressed. Everything was brought to our little cubby so we didn't even have to open the door. The poolside and oceanside service was incredible.
Maroma is a gorgeous beach. The water is an amazing turquoise and the sand is so soft and white. We checked out a Hobie cat one day and went sailing around the Maroma area. We had never done this before and had a blast. We are very active people, so having some entertainment during the day was great. We played beach volleyball, pool volleyball, water polo, pool bingo, took exercise classes and did yoga. Overall, we were blown away by the staff, amenities and service at this resort. I think Secrets Maroma Beach set the bar pretty high for our first all-inclusive. We've been back from our trip one day and miss it already!"
